I installed the Titanium gauges in my 12 ultra classic. Last night while riding i noticed that the speedo and the tach were backlit with white ambiance but the oil temp, oil pressure, volt, and fuel gauge had a yellowish glow. Anyone else notice this with there gauges?
Thanks
This has been discussed in detail last week. Not sure where to find it but someone will point it out to you. I has to do, if I remember correctly with the smaller gauges having LED's and the larger ones having incandescent bulbs (or the other way around). The LED's can be in many different colours.
Hmmm that is odd. I remember looking at the Titanium gauges when the Limited first came out and could have sworn they were all white. They are all supposed to be LED. Did you buy them new or second hand. Does the style of the faces on the smaller gauges match the speedo and tach???
Ok well looks like that got answered. Good news it is an easy fix. The bulbs in the small gauges can be changed unlike the big gauges which are sealed. Just buy some white LED replacement bulbs for the smaller gauges. There are several threads on here about it. Just do a forum search for "led gauges"
Just did a quick search. The standard bulb is a 161. Most people are using a WLED-x5 from SuperBright LED's

Thanks Garemlin, I wasn't initially aware that this was a known issue but now i see the light! no pun intended.

so i pulled the stock 158 bulb out of an old stock gauge. ordering replacement led bulbs now. Going with white to match the speedo and tach. Already feel better. i am going to try to do all 4 without pulling the gauges. i believe the top fuel and volt should be OK, but the oil temp and pressure on bottom may be tough.
