Exhaust / muffler wrap
I have a question re: my V&H mufflers, the mufflers seam to be getting louder as time goes by.
I'm running V&H Tru -Duals & Dual Slash tip mufflers.
can these baffles be wraped w/ exhaust wrap to make the exhaust quiter?

I have a similar issue and question: My "RUSH" 3.5" slash mufflers with the 2.25" baffles have been getting louder over time, so the packing/wrap around the baffles must be burning off. I don't mind it being somewhat louder, but my question is: When the baffle packing/wrap is all gone, is that going to mess with my bike's tune? The bike was tuned with a S.E. Pro-Tuner at the stealership on a dyno after installing these and a set of V&H Dresser Duals, a K&N Air Filter with a modified air cleaner back-plate, and a set of S.E. 255 cams. It's a 2008 E-Glide with a stock 96". I don't want to have to spend another $400. on another Dyno-tune.
