lower speakers??

lower speakers??

have a 2005 with lower fairings,, thinking about adding speakers to the lower storage pockets,,has anybody done this?? have a clean way of doing the mounting for the speakers?? wanted to put the snap on covers back on when the speakers are in to kinda weatherproof them, but the speaker grills on the outsied of the cover,. any ideas???

Do a search there's plenty of good info on this. To start look at a set of CVO speaker pods and a good 6.5 inch speaker.

Get the CVO pods. I would not try to convert your current lowers. Just my opinion.

Friend has the HogTunes in his lowers on his Ultra. They boom and nice sound. He also has the Big Ultra Kit and Tweeter pod. Ended up at least 3 more of us got the Big Ultra and Tweeter Pod. Love it with my iPod!

cvo pods WONT FIT 05,unless it has the newer style vented lowers.there are a couple aftermarket 5.25 lower pods u can use but the cover thing won't work and is not needed.
