really, if you cant remember to turn off the ignition and that bright assed headlight is not a good enough hint may be a new coloring book or dress up doll would be a better hobby.

I guess I can never shut off my bike then. Mine only has a run/stop switch and the "ignition" is nothing more than a fork lock. When this argument comes up, I always ask for something from the manufacturer that says you should not use the kill switch to shut down a bike during normal operation.

Never used the handlebar mounted kill switch myself either. No issues with battery.

I use mine, just natural, also told it was hard on starter not to, but i don't know

Yep...CVOs have no ignition switch...Fancy...

I've always used both (15 years of riding). Just never thought too much about it. After all these guys saying they've never used the ignition switch, I might have to rethink my strategy. At least it would save me like 5 minutes over the next 15 years.

Only time I use a kill switch to turn off the bike is when I am having to park on an incline and am holding the bike with the front brake and I need to kill it while in gear. Other than that, I use the ignition switch.
