Default Switch covers/replacement

Getting ready to pull the inner fairing to have it painted and want to cover or replace the switch covers for the cruise, spkrs, accessories, driving lights switches. I checked JP and a couple of others and don't see any covers. Am guessing I have to replace the switch. Mine are faded completely light grey from exposure to the sun..

hd dealer sells the set in black or chrome for like 20$ a set. Ill do mine this winter too and pc the housings. Yours may cost a bit more because of more switches, but not much more I dont think.

Don't think he is asking about the bar switches. I've never seen anything for the dash switches?

I have a set of handlebar switch covers and replacement radio controls. I was talking about the dash switches. Did some checking of parts breakdowns and HD shows only the switches, so guess I am looking at approximately 80.00 to replace the swiches to get new black ones. Bet I can hand paint them while the inner fairing is being done, or ask the painter if he can paint them to match. Just have to mask the light lens off.

Black shoe polish will bring them back.

303 Aerospace Protectant will bring the black back and keep it looking new for a few months. Then just reapply. It's an acrylic protectant that lasts longer then others.
Mine are the same way I've just been too preoccupied to get a new bottle.
I just can't see spending that kind of money for new switches when they still function correctly.
303 also works great on tire sidewalls. Also lasts a long time.
