I had V&H pro pipe on my 10 and loved it. Got a 13 and went with the V&H power duals with 4" Rineharts. Sounds great standing behind the bike, not so great when I am riding (pretty standard I think). I am just amazed at how much torque I lost going from the 96 with 2:1's to 103 with duals. Besides sound, anyone else lost torque with the 103 engine?

I think my biggest probelms is I am running a HD SE Pro Super Tuner that I got talked into at the dealer instead of getting a PV from Fuel Motto like I planned.

Ride safe

Either of the tuners you mentioned will produce the same results in hp and tq. One may have features the other doesn't but both tune the same performance tables.

Make sure they used a good base map or download one yourself then do a few auto tune runs and you should be good.

Just wondering what the loudest pipes are you have heard? I had the 2 into 1 V&H pro pipe. Didn't like the sound when you let off the throttle. I have heard good things about Rinehart's and CFR's, but are they really worth the money?
Compaired to what you have YES

There's a bunch of these on eBay all the time Rick and I was entertaining the idea of picking up some. They look stock on the outside so I'm still trying to understand how the builders say they can get you different power / sound levels etc without just plain old drilling them out. I'd love to hear them in real life because the price is half of what a set of new slips would cost like Big Louies in black for $240 for example.

Check out the Jackpot videos on the Fuel Moto website. I have the 4.5 ProTours and think they have good balance of volume and bark.

Have you thought about the MGS slip ons. With their true dual headers it sounds really good and they're set up produces really good power. I'm thinking of getting their slipons or the CFR but when I called and talked to Cary Faas he actually told me he highly does not recommend using his slip ons without intake and tune due to how much they open up. If you have the whole Stage 1 setup then I'd say check out CFR and also MGS. I've talked to both owners and they both seem to be really good ad produce good numbers with good deep sound and beast mode when you crank the throttle

On my road king (pictured below) I ran Klock Werks Double Back true duals, Bassani slip ons. The sound was aggressive and mean -- like a built, fast engine. My friend has CFRs. I love the sound. So does almost everyone who hears them. Low rumble. Loud. Just ordered MGSs for my new street glide, primarily for the increase in torque. Haven't heard them but others say they sound great. I will report on the sound when I get them installed.

I always get B& E Superflows. Had them on last 2 bikes throaty sound, good bark when you twist the throttle, and good sound at idle, plus the price can't be beat.
