Default Audio question... Which amp between the 2 options.

I have 7 1/4 Rokker XT's and the stock HK headunit. Would you go with the Rockford fosgate Punch 300 watt 2 channel or the J&M 240 Watt Amp. Just looking at the 2 amps. The RF is 150 new shipped (but i will have to buy a 10 gauge amp install kit at 20 bucks) and the J&M is used for 200 shipped. I was going to get the RF 4 channel but saw it runs at 4 ohms. The 2 channel RF is 2 ohms at 150 watt per channel.

I know there are many options out there but my budget is tight. Just want to and am amp to push the Rokker speakers some more.

get the punch, and you don't need the 10 gauge install kit, but if you get an install kit from Crutchfield they add an additional year of warranty. but I think they charge more than $20, something like $45. If you buy your own stuff it will still cost you around $20, just the wire alone is pretty expensive. I don't know what you want to do about the install kit, but definitely get the rockford fosgate punch

I guess all i need is 10 gauge postive and negative wire with an inline fuse. Then some 18 gauge speaker wire and connectors. I think the amp install kit comes with all of that plus a set of rca jack which is not needed since the stock HK radio and amp dont take rca jacks.

I do recommend it, I am between bikes currently. Make sure the amp and speakers are compatible. If I remember, some speakers are 2 or 4 ohm, and some amps were only 2 or 4 ohm. I had the amp in the front fairing and it never fauted in the AZ heat.
