I second that! Same height with the same seat and I am fully flat footed when walking the bike. It's not as cushy as the sundowner I had at first, but it's comfortable. The sundowner was also a good seat for me too, but I just wanted a solo setup with driver backrest that I could use with a solo tourpak down the road.

I went with the Road Glide CVO solo seat. It comes in black or brown. It's basically a brawler seat with some gray stitching. It's a little more than the brawler but I think it looks a bit nicer. Your dealer can order it.

Seat trumps lowering IMO... good luck. I am 5'6" and my 09 glide is stock height. I just wear boots with about a 1 1/2" heel.

Default HD reduced reach

Reads like trying a different seat or having mine redone along with boots is my answer. Any thoughts on the HD Reduced Reach?

I have the reduced reach seat but I am not a big fan of it. It pushes my seeds up to the gas tank but it is effective at getting your feet on the ground.

I have a 31 inseam. I bought a pair of HD El Paso boots and no more issues.

Which option did you go for? How much lowered? Turn around time? I appreciate your response.

Seeing as they didn't have a super reduced reach seat in a single, I bought the double and had it sent out to make into a singe. I loved how it moved me forward and lowered at same time...also lowered front and rear 2 inches. Im 5'1

Forgot to add its for my '13 SG that was delivered today!! haven't changed my sig pic...

I'm 5'7" with a 30" inseam. Still riding the stock seat and suspension and have ridden over 13,000 miles in 10 months. I was a little unsteady at first but, with a few miles under me got very comfortable. Put some miles on her and then decide what you want to do. Ride safe!

Street Glides are already lowered compared to Ultras. I would look at getting the stock seat narrowed. There is the reach seat from HD that moves you down and a bit forward too. Another option, and one that I picked with my Ultra, get boots with bigger heels. Sounds simplistic, but really was the best solution for me.
