Default New Street Glide

Traded my Dyna Super Glide for a 2013 Street Glide. I have a 31 inseam and while I can slide forward and have both feet flat on the pavement, would feel more comfortable with another inch. Should I change seats or have the bike lowered? If seat, which one? Thanks!!

I sent my seat to mean city cycles and got it narrowed and lowered, along with widening the passenger area. Worked great! (I'm 5-8)

I wouldn't lower an SG. Mean City is a good idea. C&C is a good idea. If you have the money FBI makes a seat drop kit.

Seat, boots, shocks, looked at lowering mine however did not want to compromise the ride.
I am looking at a C&C forward solo, ohlins work well for me. Congrats & good luck.

You want to check out an H-D Brawler solo. It will set you down about an inch and back at least an inch, if not 2''. Although, I gotta tell ya, it may the best looking solo seat you can put on a Street Glide, I couldn't ride mine for more than a couple hours without lower back pain. I'm 6'3'' w/34'' inseam for reference.

I think you can go to your local H-D dealer and do a demo ride on seats and windshields. You might get some decent riding weather in Iowa City Friday or Saturday.

I'm 5'7 with 30' inseam and have a C&C solo that works great on my 2010 Ultra.
