I keep mine in a bolt/screw box that I took out the separators... bought it a Canadian tire and it fits perfectly

cost: about 3$ ...plus the harley sticker about 8$ (got to have the harley logo somewhere

)

In the original foam packing in the zippered saddle bag protector on the left side of the bike. Works like a charm and doesn't take up space in the bags or tbox.

I keep mine on a shelf in my garage. Every spring I check the air shock pressure and maybe add a pound or two but have no reason to carry the pump on my bike.
