I keep it in the storage organizer stuck to the inside of my saddlebag lid. Leaving it in the garage or my sock drawer would probably protect it better. I don't use it often.
I guess I have missed something along the way. I keep mine on the shelf in the garage as was mentioned. Check it a few times per year or when I go from single to two up riding. The pressure remains the same for months, and have no desire to carry the pump with me. I guess I just saved the 10 dollars and leave it home.
I was looking for a protective carrying case for my HD air pump for the air shock. The ones I have seen so far are nice, but I'm sorta of a thrity minded person. Yesterday I was in the Bass Pro Shop, and purchased a large Red Head padded pistol zippered case. Just the right size, and only ten bucks.
