First initial impression..... Awesome! Seat of the pants torque/ power feel on tap.
It's great. Way way better than the SE 255 cams I had put 10,000 miles on- way better.
I noticed the exhaust sounded like it had more rumble to it, throatier perhaps, but definitely better.

Better engine response, and it does not take much twist of the wick to get moving....just what the doctor ordered!

The only down side:
I only got to ride it 20 miles tonight as I put the bike in Winter storage at the HD dealership, bike will be all warm and on a bat tender for the winter. And,
I did not have time to mess with the PowerVision but the handlebar mount and interface is pretty cool. So I guess I read up on PowerVision stuff.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The bike definitely has some authority with pronounced seat of the pants torque. Roll the throttle and it gets after it in a very responsive way. This is going to be a freaking blast to ride come nice weather.

This cam will NOT disappoint. Thanks to Fuelmoto for the parts.
Your 1st paragraph implies you pulled the 255's out, and replaced with 222's in the same motor. Is this the case?
If so that is about as much of a head to head comparo as it gets.
Thanks for the post, good to know.

I really like my 204's alot and couldn't be happier with the way my bike runs. I'm just say'n that if I was picking a after market cam and wanted a little more lift than the 204's have I'd choose the 222's. That little extra bit of lift might be the kicker to getting that extra umph. I don't know how the 222's sound at idle but the 204's are awesome. Fire my bike up and ease out of a parking lot and mine sounds like it has a huge cam in.

And in 6 months, there will be a better cam out there....and so on and so on.....for me, I picked up the SE255's for $100, installed them myself and they are a big improvement over stock and work in the rpm range that I ride on, so they will stay in there (for now that is!!).

I have been mulling over which cam for my RGC. I have the 555s in my Crossbones (96"), and plan to run a Woods grind in the Roadglide's 103" After all this good feedback on the 222s, I may go that way. It sounds like and looks like (according to dyno graphs) that the torque comes on much sooner with these than with the 555s. I am not sure how far beyond cams I would go with my 103" but, does anyone know how these cams would act if I did do some other smaller mods to the engine down the road, headwork, etc?

If Fuelmoto had PC-V maps available for my 96" with the TW-222 cams, I'd pull the trigger right now.

I don't know if I should wait or go with something else for my winter project.

I'd like to see the direct comparison between the 255 & 222 too. I think I saw a FM post on another sight where FM advised there might not be huge noticeable gains. In fact, I think it was addressed to the OP?

Fuel Moto has mentioned on the forum that they are putting the 222 in some 96 bikes. They have a dyno chart on the cam page of their website. Give them a call.

On the comparison of 255 to 222, I would bet the low end and mid range is similar with a little more top end since it's not held back by EPA standards.

Brettnbama, I think I recall FuelMoto trying a TW-222 in one of their 107 upgrades for someone that wanted massive low end torque and it did fine. Seems I recall the peak power wasn't up to 555 or 777 levels but very strong.

http://fuelmotousa.com/cams.htm 107 made 104 hp and 122 tq

This results were awesome, this setup made 94Hp/105Tq, outstanding for an otherwise stock 96" motor! Power is nice and broad. Thanks Mike for giving us the opportunity to add some Fuel Moto power

That was the one I was waiting for.
