Id say go for the 2010 street glide 18 inch rim in chrome. the 18 inch will open up a bit and be a good balence with the rotor covers

Looks really good to me. If you are changing wheels, have you considered laced with wide whites? Also, how about some visors on all seven lights?

I had laced wheels on my Heritage and they were a pain in the a$$.
Harley replaced the rear under warranty but the bike still felt loose. From what I understand there is a certain amount of flex in laced wheels. I was shocked how tight the solid wheels felt when I bought this bike.
I have thought about the white walls though, love the look but wondered how it would look with the rims I have......

Outstanding work on this!

Positives: darn near everything...but specifically:
1) frame covers - both mid frame and front - as you can tell by my signature pic, I do like how that looks
2) front oil cover - understated and clean
3) love the chrome bag spacer covers on the back end...but I like the chrome rails in lieu of the spacers.
4) leave your bags alone and resist the urge to put on the 'screw on' accents that are out there...keep them simple and clean!

Negatives:
1) Rotor covers (as already stated).
2) Fork lower covers...ditch the covers and do a full chrome fork lower and bells...it'll bling out the front end and be much cleaner.
3) put the tri bar back on (or get one) and move your directionals down there to the tri bar...it'll look great!
4) ditch the caliper covers and go with a set of PM's or otherwise.
5) ditch the cow bell and get something that matches your style.
6) ditch the AC cover and style this towards you over all style your aiming for.

Pace yourself on these mods...do your reaserch and opt away from covers like Kury offers (although I have a few of these types of things) and go with replacement parts that are chrome covered. Eventually, we get to a point where it just looks like you opened up a chrome cover book and it won't look 'real'. Keep in mind I think you've done a GREAT JOB, but try to think of your mods more like a piece of art rather than just a piece of chrome. Look at your bike from a wholistic/style stand point rather that finding a piece of matte black and just covering it with chrome.

This is based on my taste ONLY and many may disagree with me...I defiantly pass on those wheels...way too bulky and may not fit with your overall plan for the bike.

Think 'lean' chrome...understated, clean and simple. Have in mind what you want the bike to look like when you're finished and work toward that goal.

By the way, I'm not sure what others do, but I make a point of keeping all my OEM parts. When I sold my FLSTN the chrome I pulled off of that funded darn near all of my RKC chrome.

Looks pretty good to me, just clean up the front end, put on a set of chrome forks and lay down the license plate and you're good to go! Chrome is the NEW Black!!!

The rotor covers are bogus and the wheels look like they belong on an 18 wheeler. A leaner, lighter wheel would set it off, better

Totally agree hippie. Less is more especially when those dated rotor covers are used. The rest of the op's bike is pretty sweet as it is now and that's about all I'd do to it.
