I have these leather overpants and they are pretty awesome. For $89.95 you really can't beat the price. The writeup says to order one size larger, but I had to go two sizes larger to fit my fat ***. You can use this code for an extra 10% off: 55632
I have the FCL overpants, chaps, as well as a jacket. Their quality and workmanship is excellent and obvious the first time you pick up one of their garments. Their customer service is equally excellent and are experts in correct sizing over the phone. If I could only get the pants or chaps, I would get the pants because they offer more protection and are easier to put on/off in my opinion as the outseam zips from the waist all the way down.
I picked up a pair of Stone Lake Leather Bibs on my local Craigs List. Half the cost of new. I wear them once it starts to get cool and when it's cold I wear my H-D/Gebrings pant liners under them, along with the heated jacket liner and gloves, I'm really toasty warm. I really like the Stone Lake leather quality, ain't cheap but well worth the cost. I'd like to find a pair of lighter weight leather bibs for warmer weather. Come early spring, I'll go searching for a pair.
With the weather getting colder (I'm in Canada) my chaps are not really cutting it.
Besides the fact they look goofy in my opinion, they don't really offer any protection where you likely will hit, your ***.
I have other types of riding pants but was thinking of the Fox creek leather over pant that goes on and off the same as chaps.
Anyone have these?
I have a pair that depending on your size you could get pretty cheap. They're 36" waist, 42" outseam. Good leather, but since I've gone to electrics, & live in Florida, I don't have much use for 'em anymore. Pix & price available by PM
