My 2010 Limited has been having a problem where my bike seems to cut out / lose power for a brief moment. Took in to a dealer back in August and the bike isn't throwing codes. The tech had the bike for a month.. Bike would go lean intermittently .. Tech said it was crank position sensor so he replaced and retuned bike. I took bike and within 300 mile trip it missed and turned off my cruise control on highway. I put old tune back on and little missing continued for more than 2knmiles. For reasons I won't discuss I decided to take bike to differnt dealer. It was cold outside when I took it (40 degrees) damn bike didn't miss. The tech put 130 highway miles on it and could not recreate. I took bike and within first 40 miles it would miss again. In the past they did fix the plug behind air cleaner. Anyway with no codes I don't know what it is and I'm very frustrated. 4000 mile prior to this problem I had handlebars replaced. Could this be a throttle position sensor problem? It does seem to miss when hitting big bumps. I appreciate your help.
May sound stupid...but did you assure the battery cables were tight??
I didn't but would of thought both techs would have done that.. Especially the first one that had it for a month.
I will ensure that I check it.
Thanks for the suggestion.
I'm hoping this post will help me recommend stuff to look at to the dealer... Or better yet; someone maybe had this same problem and can give specifics.

I might suspect the TPS if you had one, but those disappeared when TBW was introduced in '08. I'll second Mikkeeh's suggestion to check the battery cables.
Had a bike in the shop having an intermittent power loss and dying. Would always start back up and run. Checked several things and finally found the plastic line on fuel pump in tank had a crack in it. Dont know if this helps in your case but just a few bolts and some time to check.
The loose battery cable or the crack in the fuel line would not generate codes in my mind. All the intermittent problems I have experienced have generated codes.
