Yeah Keithu, Get some ride time in before it gets to cold for sure. You will have time to swap chrome soon enough. Get that first thousand on and get the first check up asap. Then you can really feel like you've accomplished the first milestone of new scooter ownership. My latest was Three years old when I got it, and was only one blemish form being showroom condition. It is the newest scoot I've bought in 20 years. I hope to one day join the shark team. Enjoy the ride and keep the motor stock and no power commanders. My 20+yr tech sez they ain't good for em, being recently factory trained to dyno tune. To much electronics already there. I Might consider checking out the XIDs however. Seems to be a simple fix. I have yet to question him about this mod.
Post a new pic of your SYF derby cover on the new scoot will ya! Lol

Got her home yesterday late afternoon, and began swapping all the farkle over. Got the highway pegs, mirrors, shift linkage, run/turn/brake module, backrest, shifter peg (with rear shift lever delete), timer cover insert, and yes, the SYF derby cover is on. Got to bed at about midnight, my right forearm is sore from all the racheting.
So, you had all this oil in your arms heading toward the Parts Counter, but you had to navigate through all these bike to get there, right. It's like trying to get through a checkout counter at the grocery store and having to go through all the candy bars. I understand completely.
