how well does that FBI kit work? i just ordered one...the brackets were chipping the paint in my pro mod bag lids
The FBI kit works great once it installed, the hole in the mounting bracket didn't match the holes in the tour pack so I needed to drill new ones. This allows you to position the tour pack in the best position for you.
You should open the bag and I remove the seat before I install or remove the tour pack to prevent damage to the top of bags.
Picked this up in Sept 2013 Classic, added 254E cams, air cleaner and slip-ons, FBI detachable tour pack hardware, street glide floorboards, J&M 71/4" speakers and new front and back lights.
I have chrome lowers to put on over the winter.
Chrome lowers? Where did you find those?Ignore, I thought you meant lower fairings LOL
