Putting a big bore kit In my stock 03 FLHTI next week, a lot of friends say a D&D Fat Cat 2 into 1 is the way to go. From some of you pros, What are some of your thoughts on this.
If you are looking for the best performing pipe on the market you have found it! The D&D fat cats put up the best numbers and still have a nice deep aggressive tone. They are a very loud pipe though. What size big bore are you doing?
i have them on street glide. Also on the fatboy I traded in for SG. When I got SG i was thinking about doing something different. The tech who did the dyno came out and talked to me and said the d and d was the best. He said he does all the popular V and H pipes but over the years he's seen the d and d's fit and finish is above all others. after three years on the fatboy they looked brand new, no discolor at all. I stuck w/ d and d and also got the ghost pipe. I'm really glad I did. Deep rumble and really blasts when I give it the throttle. They also have a unique sound, not like all the other bikes lined up.I'm sure people who have other brands are just as happy, this is just my experience. I'm sure you wont be disappointed. They have a quiet, standard, and obnoxiously loud baffle. I got the standard and it sounds great.

Love, love, love the fatcat. Heard a boat load of other pipes and IMO none come close to that badass sound. Best of luck in your decision.
There are numerous high quality 2 into 1 pipes available for your bike. Sound is very subjective so I suggest listening to a few before you make your decision. I run a D&D on my Dyna and ran one on my softail in the past. They are far from the loudest pipes available. With a quiet baffle you can actually talk at regular volume and carry on a conversation whereas when you get on it they do have a nice bark to them. On my softail I ran the standard baffle as opposed to the quiet and it does not have quite as deep a tone as the quiet baffle.
I fatcat will give you a classic muscle car sound on your bike. Regardless of what you choose, do your research and enjoy.

Not very drastic, stock 88ci to 95ci. With the head work and cams, tuner, i should get around 95hp.
