Just looking for more info in one place,

1.How tall are you,
2.What size gangsters do you have on your ride, and how they are for shoulder height,
3.If you know what size + on stock you went on your cables post that also,

Cheers!

thats what i'm looking at doing also,
i'm 6'2" and looking at the 16" 1.5 gangsters for a road king,

just hope i'm not above my shoulders,
from what i've read I think +8 on throttle/idle and brake, and +10 on clutch,...but i'm curious to see what everyone else went with without digging throught a million posts again.

thanks!

I'm sure if you call Carlini's they can tell you all that info.

I'm 6"4' and just put 16" Carlini's on my RKC. My arms are at shoulder height which is perfect and comfortable for me. I've got them pulled back enough so I can run the stock windshield too. I went +8" on the brake lines and throttle cables and +12" on the electrical extensions and clutch cable. I hope this helps. Good luck!!

1. 5'10''
2. 18" 1.25" Gangsters (Hydraulic clutch won't fit with 1.5") - Just a touch above shoulders.
3. For a SG: + 10" on the brake upper and hydraulic clutch cable (74")

No, I went with the 1.25's. The 1.5's were wider than the beach bars that I took off. I didn't want my bars that wide with my arms that high up. I checked them out at Carlini and just didn't care for them.

I'm glad you posted this as I am also 6'4 and am looking into apes on my RKC. Can't decide between 18" Gangsters or 19" LA Choppers style.

I'm a shorter guy, so a set of 12.5 bars looked awesome on my 2012 Fat Boy Lo. They are very comfy as well!!
