Just remember, Carlini's run tall. 16's are actually closer to 17's, so your idea of 18's will be closer to 19. Good luck with the decision!

1. 6'
2. 18" Gangsters. Pushed forward they're just slightly above my shoulders.
3. +12 on my wiring extensions. 74" clutch cable.

3.If you know what size + on stock you went on your cables post that also,

Cheers!

Lets try to re-hash this one to find my answer. What size + cables do I need for 16" Gangster Apes on a 2014 Road King?

We put 16" Gangster Apes on my Dad's bike. Attached is a pic. He's about a hair under 6'. I'm 6'2 and have 16" BR Customs. Both of us are right about shoulder height with both sets of bars. ( Comfort level has been perfect. I could have went taller, but went for comfort over cool)
I ordered the bars, riser adapter, and cable kit right from Carlini.

And my 14 yr old sitting on mine, he's about 5' 10 for reference.

Carlini don't know chit! I called them to ask them what size cables I needed and they said they don't know! They said they know what kit to sell me but could not tell me the length of the cables themselves. I am currently in dispute with them because they sent me 18" gangster apes instead of the 16" I ordered and they don't want to make it right. Horrible customer service!

Wrll, Hate to say, but lots of people say to pick the size you want, then add 2". Maybe they were thinking ahead for you?
