Exclamation Tire storage question

Just looking for thoughts on what folks might think would be the best storage atmosphere for my new Michelin Commander II tires. I ordered them a couple months ago but when I was on a work assignment away from home with my bike I ended up in a situation where I needed a tire. So hoping for logical feedback as to should I keep them in the garage under the house where it only gets cool but not cold or should I bring them into the house. Or does it really make a difference???? Just kinda paranoid after reading threads where relatively new tires started cracking. FWIW It may be as long as 6 months before I will need to change them. Then again the bike is in the shop getting cams (Andrews 37) along with some other work so I may burn those tires faster than I normally would.

As long as they aren't outside being weather beaten, I'm sure you'll be fine.

I bought a rear tire a year or so ago on sale and kept in the garage for about 6 months before it was mounted and never had a problem with it.

Dont be foolish! You need to store them on my bikes rims. I will give them back when you need them.

Keep them in the garage under the house. That will work just fine. Excessive heat and direct sunlight are what you want to avoid.

Wrap them if you can to keep excessive dirt/ debris for accumulating. Don't store them flat. Store them off the ground standing up.

Light, especially sunlight, is what does them in. Keep them inside, in the dark.
