I also have them in my 08 Street Glide. The dealer tried to talk me out of them, tried to sell me 254E cams. I told them I wanted torque, bottom end, that's where I ride. I loved seeing the difference on the dyno sheet, moved WAY to the left. I love 'em, tons of bottom end.

I've been running hard up to between 5-6000 RPM and can't get them to drop off or "fall on their face". The only issue is that I need a rear tire that will hook up. When I take of hard I'm fishtailing like crazy.

I have hit the rev limiter a few times and I never feel them drop off. I am happy with the 255's. No ping, no problems!

They work on my heavy A$$ Trike just as well, my sig info says it all. Two up and loaded and she still pulls hard. Could be a little gas sensitive though, so remember that. I always carrry some octane booster when I can't get straight 93. The mods and proper tune make all the difference in performance and rideability.

Had the 255's in my 96" 2007 with Rinehart TD's & SE A\C and loved them! Took them out when I did a big bore, head work, etc. lookin for that "100HP". For my riding style, I prefered the 96" with 255's!! Glad I kept the low mileage (about 3,000 miles) 255's cause their going in the Road Glide next weekend!

Than you have never riden a bike with cams that pull to the redline...255's are dead after 4k. Ride next to a camparable bike with no cams.....the race will be side by side for the most part.....

I'd have to disagree that they're "dead" after 4K.

I have no tach on my RKC
Put 10K on my SE 255 cams, I don't think I got my sled to the rev limiter.

I don't race my ride, but I felt the CVO guys I ride with have more power on tap than mine scoot, so that was part of the reason to swap cams.

The SE cam is not that bad, and makes okay torque.
