Just wondering if anyone has advice for me. My clutch cable isn't springing back all the way, I have to physically push it back. Is that a problem with the cable itself, or is that a clutch problem?
How much play does the lever have?...There should be a 1/16" - 1/8" gap between the ferrule and the base of the handle. Therefore, it shouldn't spring back all the way.
Or have you run out of threads to the adjustment part of the cabling? This is not uncommon and found the cable stretches enough after the second adjustment and a shim became necessary.
I've got a feeling you are new to bikes. Or that your previous bikes had a hydraulic clutch. Sounds to me like you need to adjust your clutch. It's a regular maintenance thing.
