performance machine caliper locked up
Yes, stock hand controls. I did release the bleeder and fluid came out but it did not ssquirt out like there was pressure on it. Just leaked out as it does when lines and caliper is full. The resistance I dont think was from pressure from the pads but the rotor actually digging into the inner surface of the caliper. I will have the caliper off again tonight and will take off banjo, completely drain caliper and use a little air to pop the pistons out and make sure nothing is stuck. I am pretty much dead in the water until i get another rotor. The funny thing is that I have had warped rotors before on sportbikes. As u spin the wheel u can wawatch th

I am pretty much dead in the water until i get another rotor. The funny thing is that I have had warped rotors before on sportbikes. As u spin the wheel u can watch the warped point on every revolution, like having a bent rim thus causing that "pulsating" feeling at the lever. This is different. The disc seems like it was almost pulled uniformly outward from the hub. When u watch the rotor spin without the caliper there is no wave or warp. The disc is on a different plane than the carrier whi h is still parrallel with the hub. If i knew how to post a vid i would.
Mine did the same thing and it wasn't the caliper, it was the hand brake the master cylinder is supposd to have 2 holes in it and mine had 1 hole and a casting mark were the other hole should of been. I drilled the other one out and has worked fine ever since..
