I ordered a set of true duals and slash cut slip on's for my Street Glide three weeks ago from the HD dealer.
No sign of them coming in any time soon. I called Vance Hines up and they said its there most popular pipes they
are selling right now, and the back-order could be another 3-4 weeks.
Its to cold to ride now anyway, so its not a problem to wait.
But I was thinking about looking into the Reinharts instead. Anybody know the lead time on those?
My dealer ordered Rhinehart True Duels for my 07 Road Glide in mid December and they came in two days ago (Feb 28). Apparently Rhinehart cannot keep up with the demand.
I ordered mine from eastern performance (sponser here) and I had them in just a couple of days. you might want to check there pirce and if they are in stock... I have enjoyed mine since I have put them on.. I would tell you that you should get a high flow A/C with it...
I was told by my dealer that the Rinehart's backorder was just as long if not longer than the V&H, however I didn't want but 2 weeks to get my Big Shot true duals for my RK.
You got time due to weather, just shop around for the best price because you cant go wrong with the V&H's or the BUB's.Check on ebay or parts direct. Some HD dealerships stock them as well because these are the most popular TD set ups. Nothing like catching a smokeing deal!!!
When I ordered my Rineharts it took 4 months to get them because of back orders. I was starting to look into V&H and then they came in. Very glad I waited for the Rineharts.
Ordered V&H 2into1 four weeks ago from the local dealer. Called yesterday and was told they will be shipped next week. Let us not forget that "the check is in the mail'. !!!!!My first postby the way!!!
