Default Narrower side panels?

I need to find a set of narrower side panels for my 98 RK. The stock ones are hideous and rediculously wide. I am thinking of fabbing some up if I had to, but would prefer to find some if i could.

Has anyone done this? any ideas would be appreciated.

Thumbs up

Need?! I haven't come across any, but it shouldn't be difficult to fabricate something.

It'll be interesting to see what you end up with.

What are you referring to by Side Panels? The covers behind the engine and below the seat? (Just checking)

I actually called them, but they are backed up until the New Year.

I was thinking of making a simple aluminum sheet cover.

There were some available, but the maker closed up shop, and all stock is gone.

I just looked at their website, but the only side covers they show fit over the existing covers, so won't be any slimmer. Or do they have other versions not shown?
