Both the 2011 FLHTK and 2013 TRIGLIDE get 1 quart in the tranny. Now, if I can get the darn dealer to put 38oz in the primary instead of the old 1 qt mentality, I'd be happy!
The book says approx 32 oz in the transmission. My 11 RKC took 38 oz. to read correct on the dip stick. 32 oz wouldn't even register on the dipstick. Others have seen the same thing. It also says approx. 38 oz in the primary. Most put 1 quart in both. Not sure 6 oz will matter but I prefer it to be right.
NOTE:
When checking the transmission lubricant level, the motorcycle should be leaning on the jiffy stand. If the motorcycle was recently moved or ridden, allow a short period of time to equalize lubricant level in the transmission compartments.
It took me all of 1 minute to find this information. Although it doesn't say cold or hot I think the statement is pretty self explanatory.
Finally had a chance to check my manuals out. This is not stated anywhere in the 2013 touring manual or service manual.
Haven't had a chance to get out and warm her up and check it every 10-15 minutes as it cools off. Hopefully I will soon.
