Can't give advice on what to do but I can on what NOT to do. Don't get somebody off Craigslist to haul. A guy I know did that with a boat. During the haul the trailer came off the hitch and rolled, totaled the boat and trailer. It was a huge pain to get insurance to pay anything.

Go to the dealer you like + trust, and ask them who they use. If that's not an option, I have not used these folks, but did check into them. The quotes were fair.

I can't remember their name but I had good luck with the shipper that HOG and AMA endorse (and give a discount). They were cheaper by a few hundred dollars for my return from Hawaii, too.
