Im going to be painting my inner fairing with Sedona Orange from colorrite. My question is what color primer should I use or does it matter. I know lighter colored or darker colored primer will effect the outcome of the color when using candy colors.
I suggest you buy the primer from Color-rite as well. It may cost a little more but it's better not to mix brands of paint if you can avoid it. They'll tell you what color primer to use, too. Good luck. Joe

2nd that you should just buy there primer and clear. As Joe12RK says you dont want to mix brands of paint.
I was going to go this route last year when i had my 11 wide glide. I wanted to buy the paint in the spray cans and paint my fairing. I decided after all that i would have to buy it would be the same as me getting it painted locally and professionally. Also i think there are a few different variations of this sedona orange. Colorite didnt have my 11 wide glide listed but they did have the 11 street glide in the same color and fat bob i believe. I called them and they told me there are different variations of that color and they didnt have it for the dyna.
