Here is what my 07 looks like after I "cored them"
Today I installed a pair of '07 stock Mufflers on my "06 SG. I replaced my SE mufflers as an experiment, trying to get rid of some vibration.
I took a test ride and the sound was a little weird, not what I was used to but as far as vibration, it's funny, I now have a different type of vibration. The SE Mufflers had more of a thumping vibration and these stock mufflers have more of a buzz in the seat.
Another side effect that I notice was that the bike has a little more pep.
How did you core your mufflers and did it alter the sound or performance much?
