The screaming eagle is a Harley download tuner.... The power commander has the ability to be adjustable via a laptop computer... The power commander you can pretty much do what you want with it including the timing... The Screamin Eagle tuner you're at the mercy of the dealership so you have to decide which way you want from there
Ummm.. he didn't say which one he had. The SE Pro Super Tuner w/cables and software will allow you to adjust all you want from a laptop computer. I can't speak for the other brands, but have had great results with my SE Pro.
I've been away from this for a while. Sorry. Thanks for the input from everyone. Just to keep it going. I have the power commander on the bike presently. I came with the bike. I also was given the SE Street tuner as a gift (that is still sealed in the box)(btw it's for sale in the classified section).
Thanks again for all of your opinions.
THe PC is in and working. But I think it needs to be tuned better. I get about 30 mpg and my spark plugs are black. So I don't think it is tuned as best as it can be. But I do not have cables or anything for the PC. The widow I bought if from tried to find can not. So thats that. Im open to options.
Well I don't know if it helps but I have both on nearly Identical bikes. I have the SE Tuner on a 2011 RKC 103" and the dealer added the tuner. I had the bike back twice for them to fine tune it and it runs good, much cooler, better power. I have the PC 5 on a 2012 RKC 103" and it was tuned by an independent shop and I can tweak it myself. This bike feels like it has a bit more low end grunt, and I think it responds to the throttle with a bit more zip. Both bikes have V&H Header Pipes (no CAT) and V&H Twin Slash Pipes.
