The raised script is only on one side of the muffler.

I know this is an older thread, but thought I would add my $.02....

I have the black SE Street Cannons on my 2011 Ultra Limited. I also had the dealer install/dyno using a SERT.
I love the way the bike sounds, but my gas mileage went south in a big way. If I had to do it all over again, I would just add the Street Cannon slip-ons and leave the air management alone for awhile. They do sound very good though, and are fairly quiet on the slab.

Default Street Cannons on 2014 Limited

Airborne: Really want to keep my mileage. Got the pipes on order but not upgrading the breather. Waiting for K&N to come out with replacement filter. My Limited will be waiting for my upon return from The Stan in Sep.

Army Guy:

That's exactly what I would do. I question the need for a Stage 1/breather.
Except being a bit louder, I question the negligible/noticeable increase in power...but I DO notice the marked decrease in gas mileage. Louder does not equal faster or more powerful.
You will love the Street Cannons tho!

The problem is your tune, not the intake.

Is it best to use these with stock headers?

And, would they work on a 2001 RK?

I'm sure you can mount them but honestly, I wouldn't recomemend them if you don't have a cat equipped head pipe. Most everyone that has removed the cat has been unhappy with the tinny sound they make - sounds great with the cat but without one I'd look for something else.
