98 FLHT fork up-grades?

OK, I need a little help. I have a 98 FLHT that I have put a new 113"Ultima in with a six speed and a 2" open belt primary. Now I'm doing a few more up grades to it when I get home from the Sand Box in a few weeks. I am putting a new wider swing arm on the rear but am wanting to also go with a 1" axle up front. Can I take a set of newer (02-08) front lowers and replace my older ones? Need the help before I spend some money and not be able to use them.

Swap out complete forks with internals and all. I'd suggest going with 06 or later.

Yes you can, its a straight swap, I've done both of my EVO bikes and one of them has the brembo upgrade with a newer wheel, all you have to do is the lowers, the tubes and springs are the same, best of luck, chad

hi. be a 98 will suggest to change the tube a the same time.b.k.rider have those 125.00 complete also have front chrome axel 40.00.lower are cheap on ebay. be sure you have the whell before buy lower. 08 up are 25 mm .mrfuji
