Default Frame size

Anybody know the size of the down tubes on a street glide frame? Looking to order a helmet lock. Need to know the size.

I have one on my front engine guard that Harley sells if that helps. Doesn't look bad or out of place. Seems like down tubes are gonna get you close to something hot.

Well damn I never thought about engine being near the frame tube.
Post a pic CP1.
Guess I'll measure when I get home.

I have an 06, top part of down tube is 1 1/4 but it has vertical welds 180 degrees apart below the reflector it is 1 1/8 but you probably already know this. Sorry I couldn't get you a good pic, either too dark or flash reflects off the chrome.
