I see Klock now has a 8.5" available. I have had a 6.5 for years and love it, sometimes in rain or bug storm I had wished the 6.5 was a little taller. Im 5'10" on a SG, my question is... will I be able to still look over the 8.5" or will I be looking thru it?? Please post pics of a 8.5 if you got em.
Also, Has anyone seen this new Nav-Bag Klock is selling? Windshield bag for 6.5 Flare and up, looks pretty cool but..$120 ??
One of my many windshields is a 8.5 KW, light tint. It's nothing to write home about. It actually measures 9" from the fairing to the top of the shield. At 5' 10 " you will be able to look over it but if you ever look down to see something in your immediate path it will be distorted. As far as wind protection it's no better than any other 8.5 shield. Actually I keep going back to my 8.5 Wind-Vest with re-curve. I think it offers the best protection and with no distortion if you ever glance down.

As several 5'10" riders have mentioned the 8.5 doesn't work, you should consider the 8" FastAire Windshield. It will provide the extra height your looking for and the recurve doesn't distort your vision and will still provide the aero dynamic function of the Klock Werks. What's the tint on the 6.6 KW's your using right now?
Here's a few pics on my light tint 8" fastaire aero.
