On a serious note.. I had not considered it yet. I think I can do OD Green wit a small white star in the center of each mirror. WWII style. Thanks CHIPPDOG
What the heck is wrong with all these new bikes? Wheel bearings failing! Compensators failing! Voltage regulators failing! Tires failing! Sensors failing! AND NOW BLAH BLAH BLAH!!! What the heck is a blah blah blah and how would I know if mine is on the way out?
Have you heard of freedom of speech? One of the great American liberties. There would be no forum if only the very smart questions were posted. I enjoy everything I read here
It's more irritating reading whining about what gets posted. Read what you want, skip the rest. I agree new riders sometimes need assurances, so why not help them out? I've always enjoyed the great part about the HD world.....someone's always willing to help you if you need it. Don't screw that up by making people feel bad about what they post.

I have to agree. Though the repeated questions irk me it does pass the time during the winter hiatus.
BTW, I think most of these posts are done by the moderators to keep up the daily post count.
At least 2-3 times a week I log on, and see a new post bearing the question, "Does your new bike blah blah blah blah blah".
Who gives a ****, it's obviously not a problem so ride it.
The posts typically begin with the obvious being stated, then the question with the obvious answer. I am just curious if it is like people I know who talk, just to hear themselves talk?
I have made a living paying attention to detail, but, I just shake my head when I read some of these posts. I get it that some of the design changes bring about new nuances, but really?
I bought the damn thing to ride, enjoy, not be so damn bored that I need to nit pick it to pieces, and then yap about it in cyber space.
I have owned many Jap bikes through the years, and never belonged to a forum for them, so it may be a straight accross the board type of mentallity. I do know the Audio forum(s) I am on I do not see posts asking the same server space wasting questions as I have on here.
Kinda like when the wife asks "do these make my XXXXXX look different"?
Different, sure, does it matter, hell no.....Get dressed and lets go.....
There,
I am done wasting server space...
I don't think you realize that many people on this forum are hard core Wild Hog members.
I try not to make a habit of intruding in the Touring section, but I've read this entire thread,(don't know what made me click on it in the first place.), and this $hit is helariuos. By far the most entertaining read of the evening. Thanks guys.
