Understand the OP's point but how about passing along if it don't tickle ya? Just a thought. Anyone notice the demographics of Harley riders has changed significantly? That comes with newbs that ask all sort of funny stuff.
Although the funniest post I ever read was a single shout-out right in the middle of a no-kidding down in the weeds discussion about engine vibration - on a Harley - that vibrates as part of it's mystique. The poster's quote: "Where do you people come from?" Message heard and understood, that was freakin' hilarious. Ummm, wait, I posted in that thread too...that's me he was talking about, hey....

I just bought my first HOG yesterday and am bound to ask a dumb (and probably repetitive) question. If it bothers you, ignore it or tell me to STFU (and I will respond appropriately). But I joined the forum to gain knowledge from the knowledgeable elders (yes, even the grumpy ones)!!
