Mines a small cow bell my Oll lady gave me many years ago hangs from the bottom of the crash bar on that 99 king I can hear it talk if I dip hard right every now and then these things drive mechanics crazy .

TXCOMMISH; You should think of re-locating your bell. Hanging from your rear brake line is just asking for some bad juju! Sooner or later its going to wear through the line and cause you some grief.

In 45 years of riding, never saw the need for a bell. Then, bought the Ultra and saw that the previous owner had a bell installed. Have left it on there, thinking that removing an existing bell just HAS to be more dangerous than not ever having one in the first place. Who needs to tick off the road demons???
