Fork oil
From Belray website--
Q. What Bel-Ray fork oil weights cross over to match Harley-Davidson fork oils?
Sir Tech -Thanks for writing in. Harley-Davidson Type B is the equivalent viscosity to Bel-Ray High Performance Fork Oil 15W and the Harley-Davidson Type E is the equivalent to Bel-Ray High Performance Fork Oil 20W. Thanks for using Bel-Ray Performance Products.

Anytime the dealerships get a complaint about front end dive on the 2009 and up bikes they will change the oil out to the SE oil which is 10 weight.
Like others have said, the heavier oil will definitely stop the front end dive but it will also compromise the ride characteristics somewhat. If you ride mainly on smooth roadways where road conditions are not bumpy you will probably be OK with the heavier oil. Given that road conditions for most of us have steadily gone downhill the last 5 years what with cutbacks and such in road maintenance, the heavier oil in the front shocks may prove to be less than desirable. You just have to try it and see if you can live with it or not. Changing fork oil is not particularly hard, it just take a little time and patience. For those of us who don't want to mess with things like that, the dealer is more than happy to accommodate you, for a price.
