I have both a Shoei and a Nolan ff. Each comes with a pin lock lens. The Nolan is a little cheaper than the Shoei.

Pinlock without a doubt! See Artexman's post. This came with my Nolan and this system absolutely will not fog up. PFM!

I've ridden sport bikes for years with FF helmets in WA and OR, so cooler weather and fogging was often an issue. Try this - fogcity proshield.

It basically sticks onto the inside of your shield creating an airspace. I was a little hesitant to stick this onto my shield at first, but it was the best $20 I've spent for something like this. No more sprays or whatever...it just works.

Default Fogging

Cracking the visor has worked for me unless it's raining, then the seal at the top of the visor is not sealed when it's cracked and water runs down the inside, then you have two problems.

Cracking the shield has always worked for me. What I've always had problems with was my glasses fogging up while using a balaclava and a FF. It's always quit exhilarating when they fog up quickly while I'm moving. Generally happens when I drop down into a valley and the temperature drops quickly.

IVORY bar soap. Rub it on and wipe it off. Works good on the bathroom mirror too.
Pinlock on my Nolan works great too.

Fogging mostly happens when it's cold or too high humidity. Cover your nose with a bandanna or something similar will solve the problem. You want to cover your neck any way.
