I have been reading here on the forum about replacing the fuel filter. Finally did it yesterday on my'09 ultra, it was a piece of cake I didn't even have to undo any of the wires or hoses inside the tank just wiggled it out and took the horseshoe clip off I didn't replace the tank seal because it was good, did replace the smaller "O" ring on the filter. Job took about 30 minutes and when I cut the filter open it didn't look that bad but 55,000 miles and I thought it was time. Thanks to all who posted about the job and the piece of PVC smacked with a cheaper tool than the $98 one and worked fine.
