I have a ram mount I have been using but since I installed 12" apes it sits really high. So I am thinking about this one:

I think for most of us, it's too late for that. Speaking for myself, I didn't realize how shitty the location was until installation was complete.

I thought about the fairing mount myself but came accross this instead and its been working great for both my i pod and zumo...from Leader mounts...

I have that mount for my Zumo 660. It is okay but pricey. My biggest complaint is there is not enough adjustment. I finally lifted my handlebars which helped to keep it at a better angle to see. It is better IMO than many other systems in that it brings the GPS closest to your eyes as possible. For those of us vision impaired that is a good thing.

That spot on the fairing is where they put the GPS on the CVO's. When I got my Garmin I thought about putting it there, because I do think it looks better. I decided to go with the handlebar mount because I actually use all three window bags.

I really like this one! I am going to check this out. Seems to have more flexibility.
