Nothing else needed...the bolts to mount are there under the seat.

Default RE: grab rail

Just installed on 07 ultra peace officer edition. went on very easy. clearance is very close to speaker pod. MY tour pack is in the back position. I could probably take the rail off and bend it wider. Ill ride and see if it does any damage to speaker pods. right side doesn't seem to have as much clearance as the left. I took some pics of the install for those that asked. Thanks for the feed back on if it would fit.

My wife wanted the grab bar for my Ultra 2007 and I bought one from ebay. It fit just fine and wife is happy, too. Close to the speakers but does not rub. No other hardware is needed...remove the two nuts, install grab rail and works great. I would not spend the over 100 bucks Harley wants for a new one.

I moved my rail from my 2004 ultra to my 2007 ultra.. It went on easy but was not centered.. I had to elongate one of the holes to allow it to be centered.. Fits right now and is centered. The chrome was hard to drill.. I had to nibble at it a little at a time with a drill press.

Wonder why harley chose to do away with it..

It was a trick that some HD engineer came up with to increase their bottom line profits.

Just drill a few holes in the tour pac, call the "new" tour pac "adjustable," and sell the chrome passenger grab rail for $128.00.

I figure the #$%^ing seat will be an "option" on the '08's.
