So yesterday I literally spent my work day researching pics of 12" and 14" PYO MB's and can't make up my mind. I'm 6'2" and as you can see in my sig I had 16" RSD apes on my Fatboy Lo and they were nice 1 up riding but on longer rides they were a bit too high. I'm currently deployed so I have some extra coin in my pocket so price is no object. I was gonna wait until Sturgis to see other bikes but I got the money now so what the hell.
Here's a pic of me riding a few months ago so maybe that will help you guys determine what might fit me better. Probably gonna go thru Eastern Performance for everything unless anyone has a better suggestion.
I want 14's...here is a page from Bagger Nation that shows very well the placement and difference in the bars. Oh, and put a helmet on while riding Soldier! JK Be safe over there.
Thanks for the link! Still hard to determine though. Maybe I can get back to Doha Harley soon and sit on a SG and go from there. It feels like it's been forever and I only had the bike 2 weeks before deploying so I really don't know where I want my hands to be.
Looking at your seating position in that pic, the 14's look to be shoulder level, maybe a tad lower...but that's with the stock seat. Plan on keeping that? I say bite the bullet and just get them...if you aren't happy you can throw them my way! lol

I don't have enough seat time to determine if I like it or not but I rode my stock Lo seat for 8k miles with no complaints. I would like to get it narrowed a bit though. Wouldn't be a bad idea to just buy 12's and 14's and when I get home see which I like better lol.
Nice pic harley.farmer...that's solidifying my choice for 14's
I am 6ft and have the 12's....I have them pushed all the way forward and my hands are just slightly below my shoulders when riding. If you are 6'2 I would for sure go with the 14's
