They are an easy install on the newer frame and keep some heat off. I like mine.

Yes they work. Not a PITA at all - 5 minutes, 4 screws.

I can and will vouch for The Captains crotch coolers. Easy to install and worth every penny. They have a bit more coverage than any of the other products mentioned thus a cooler crotch and thigh.

Like fire-medic I painted mine also. I like the Harley ones. just don't install while motors hot the heads will burn the nuckles.

I have the Capt Itch basket weave crotch cooler to match my RK Classic bags and seat works great super heavy duty well made

Captain Itch are da bomb PLUS so easy on/off, even a caveman can do it Really, another nice thing about easy on/off is that they can come off in cooler weather...
