I have the visor trim with a Phase 7 Truck-lite. Fits ok, but I have the opposite problem, its tight as I can get it, no gap, and its kind of loose, I can turn it around the light. Though it doesnt seem to vibrate around while riding...yet.

Did you leave the stock ring on underneath the new one?

In that case you could probably put something on the inside of it like a dbl sided tape in a few spots to keep it tight? Just a thought.

Remove the stock trim ring and put 1/2" * 1/4" weatherstripping on. Tighten up new trim ring, fits good. I can't believe HD sells this trim ring and expects it to fit properly. The trim ring itself looks very good (both styles) but the fitment is terrible. One of HD's weaker efforts.
I got one for Christmas and haven't installed it yet. Glad I read this though for all the input. Have a friend that has one and I think it looks great. His does slip a little so i will tell him about the tape or weatherstripping.
