Every dollar saved on my current bike...gets me a dollar closer to the next.

multiple bikes are much better than one bike- no matter how much stuff is done to it.

the past 25 years or so I've always had between 3 and 6 bikes

What are ya gonna spend it on if it ain't this? If you have your finances in order, nobody who depends on you is want for anything, then why not?

Don't let something that pleases you make you feel guilty. You work for your money; you don't have feel guilty about enjoying it.

That "want it gotta have it" thing is finally slowing down for me a little. ( But not according to my wife....)

Thumbs up Oh Yeah!

To me, almost half the fun of buying the bike is adding my touch to it. I add a mix of HD and aftermarket parts to get the bike looking like I want it too.

By the way, it's easy, without doing custom engine work, to spend near $13,000.00 on just adding parts. That's where I am at right now, and I'm planning on a very custom paint job next year that will probably end up being around $5,00.00.

Good luck in the future with your projects!

Mom used to look at my guitars and ask "Why do you need all these? You can only play one at a time!".

"I don't know" was the best I could come up with. Some things never change.

Hey Mike,

Yep. Figured you had a few! I never had near a hundred but when I had half a dozen I'd part with a few and buy more.
