Anyone have any experiences with these windshield bags..i got a chance to get one new for 50.00 new in bag...are they junk..gud, bad, indifferent...thanks!!!!!!! Holla
Had mine for 3 years now. Doesn't fit perfect but is pretty close. I like it but my windshield has scratches from the center pouch being opened. Also, after getting it wet a few times, it is wavy and not curved like shield is.
If I bought another bike, would I buy another one. Yes. Three pouches is quite a bit of room.
I like mine, I take it off when I wash the bike because the first one got pretty warped when I didn't take it off, and I also put nickle sized felt furniture pads where it hits the fairing and windshield, the bags will rub the paint off the fairing dash and scratch up the windshield. My windshield is tinted so you don't notice the pads, don't know about if it was clear.
I've had mine for several years on both my Ultra and wife's Street Glide. But when I took it off a while back for the ultimate cleaning saw it really scuffed up the top of the inner fairing.
Checked wife's bike and saw the same scuffs. Bad news is that she has the painted inner fairing - mine is stock. Sold her bike and left the T-bag on it. Opted not to put a windshield bag on her new Street Glide as have plans to paint the inner fairing on it.
Will be painting my inner fairing as well and will not put another windshield bag on.
Bought mine 4 years ago for $70, as said before, not absolutely perfect, but I would buy another if needed. I also have other T-Bag products, all great quality.
I didn't know it before buying from them the first time, but Mrs T-Bag is a Texas girl, so I support my own first by buying other products of theirs.
I had the T-Bags model on my '10 Street Glide. It was okay. A better one, in opinion, is the H-D 3 pocket fairing pouch. Part# 5800-11 (page 722 in the parts and accessories catalog). It cost $99.95, but it has higher quality vinyl (much more flexible) and has magnetic closers instead of velcro (don't like the velcro).
