hand grips
TBW-side is pretty much slip on/off & the inner grip matches w/gears on TBW control end. Here's some tips, from my experiences w/grip swap:
1. Make sure you protect the Right-side brake switch (between handle & controls) with small piece of cardboard/plastic. Brake/damage it & you'll need to replace it as well.
2. Start with the "easy" side (Left) so you get the jist of what's involved. Might have to "cut" off your Left grip (glued).
3. Make sure you don't "pinch" any of the control wires & carefully tighten the control screws (they will snap heads - I know).
4. Hang your controls from bars with a couple of tie-wraps...don't want to dangle from wires/lines.
5. ALWAYS cover your tank with large bath towel. If there's any chance of dropping/denting/scratching your tins...it will happen. Nice thick bath towel ensures you're protected from these small hazards while wrench'n.
Other than that, follow the directions and enjoy.

I did not have to cut off my left grip. Just one hard twist and the glue broke loose. There isn't much glue holding on the stock grips. If the bike already has aftermarket grips, the installer of those grips may have used more.
