2 pairs of gloves because I had a pair out for warranty repair last year, was on a cold ride, found a pair at a shop so bought another.
Anyway now neither pairs of gloves are working through the jacket liner but work through the split cable that comes with them when connected to the dual controller. I just got off the phone with them and know last year they opened their facility in NC so asked the customer rep where they are and turns out only about an hour from me in Greensboro and I can have my issue fixed the same day. I will be headed there Wednesday as they are of course closed New Year's day.
When learning of their close proximity I asked if they are hiring and she said yes. Asked what my career field is and have been in telecommunications for over 27 years but finding permanent employment has been a challenge to say the least. She said they are constantly having someone in working on their phone system so my jacket not working properly may be a Godsend. Maybe the over $1,100.00 (not including taxes) I have spent on their gear will turn out to be a big payoff for me. I have been laid off since October. Anybody that can say a prayer that I get a job I would appreciate it!!!
Good luck Mike.... I sincerely hope it works out for you and i dont think im alone in that statement.... :-)
Man you have ONLY been out of work since October? Seems like forever.....
If you get that job we will know who to blame when our gear breaks down...
Happy New Year... Waive that new flag proudly...
